Green Monster at 150 Brook St will accept cell phones, compact dics, computer monitors, computers, floppy discs, video games, inkjet cartridges, large aqppliances, lead acid batteries (non-auto), medical equipment, mp3 players, nicad batteries, office machines, rechargeable batteries, small appliances, telephones, tvs, and toner cartridges free of charge. They have a zero landfill policy and recycle everything they get. Their phone number is 860.231.1426 and they are open Monday through Friday 9 am to 3 PM and 8 to noon on Saturdays.
